This role encompasses a wide variety of diversified tax and business-related assignments under the direct supervision of a treasury/tax/risk management professional. Procedures may range from investigation and follow up to taking a tax project from start to finish, including research. This candidate will be part of a collaborative team atmosphere and contributing to a positive working environment by building solid relationships with team members, proactively seeking guidance, clarification and feedback. This is hybrid role with 2 days per week in office. This is a high visibility position with tremendous upside potential.

Responsibilities:
- Create and or assist in maintaining spreadsheets for insurance audits, renewals, prepaids, cash taxes.
- Maintain spreadsheets on bank fees, analyze monthly trends, monitor costs.
- Maintain cash forecast model.
- Assist in closing or opening tax accounts in various states.
- Gather information from the general ledger and present in high level summary form.
- Excellent communicator with strong phone and computer skills.
- Preferable knowledge of an ERP system (EPICOR preferred).
- Ability to use pivot tables.
- Ability to investigate situations where missing information needs to be found and recorded including outstanding payments that need to be negotiated if charges are not applicable.
- Well organized, detail oriented, and possessing great follow up skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
- Reliable and with a strong work ethic.
