Tax Supervisor - Phaxis LLC

A family owned CPA firm in the Long Island, NY area is looking for a Tax Supervisor professional to join their team. The firm has been in business for 40 years and continue to grow. The firm provides an elite client list with exceptional accounting, tax, and financial planning for businesses and their owners, individuals, and wealthy families. They offer a nurturing, client-oriented culture. The goal is to exceed their clients' expectations, always acting with integrity and professionalism. This position can will be hyvrid with a career path to Tax Manager.

Must Have Qualifications:

• Active CPA or EA
• Minimum of 2 years as a Tax Supervisor or a Senior Tax Accountant
• 6+ years in public accounting experience
• Prepare and Review HNWI, Trusts & Estates, Corporations, Partnerships, Multi-state returns
• Ability to lead a team onsite

• Proven ability to bring in new clients
• Assist with wealthy hegh level clients

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Review the work of employees
• Coach and develop Tax Accountants and Staff Accountants
• Manage book of business of individuals and trusts & estates clients
• Work closely with Tax Manager to help manage high level individuals
• Assist with the growth of office through business development by bringing in 1040 clients

Compensation: Salary is up to $170,000 plus Bonus. Commission paid for bringing corporate and 1040 clients. There is overtime pay during the seasons for all employees and holiday bonus payouts
