Job Details
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Remote Tax Supervisor to join our dynamic Finance industry team. As a Senior Tax Associate, you will be responsible for managing complex tax issues for our clients. You will work remotely, providing exceptional tax services to individuals and businesses across various industries.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare individual, business, and partnership tax returns, including s-corp, c-corp, entities, and trusts
- Review and analyze tax returns to ensure compliance with federal and state tax laws
- Conduct tax research and provide recommendations to clients on tax planning strategies
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to provide exceptional customer service
- Develop and maintain client relationships to ensure the highest level of client satisfaction
- Assist in the training and development of junior staff members
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 6+ years of experience in public accounting or a related field
- Strong technical skills in tax preparation and compliance, including individual returns, business and partnership tax returns, s-corp, c-corp, entities, trusts, and complex returns
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in tax research software and Microsoft Office suite
- CPA certification or progress towards certification preferred
