Tax Supervisor - Strategic Employment

A prominent public accounting firm in Glastonbury, CT is hiring for a full-time Tax Supervisor to join their growing team. This is a key hire that will lead a small accounting team and assist the Tax Manager in tax preparation and review for clients. The Tax Supervisor will have a clear path and the potential to move to a Tax Manager position and eventually to Partner level at the firm. This role is primarily onsite in Glastonbury, CT. 

Required: 

• 3+ years of professional experience working at a public accounting firm
• Previous experience leading, managing, or supervising financial staff members
• Prior professional experience in preparing and reviewing personal and business tax returns 
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar field of study

Bonus:

• CPA licensure or progress toward CPA
• Software knowledge of CCH ProSystem fx
• Experience in multi-state tax preparation and review (MA, RI, NY, CT)
