Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the accurate and timely preparation and filing of all required tax returns, including income, sales, payroll, and other tax-related forms.
- Develop and implement effective tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities for the organization and clients by identifying deductions, credits, and other tax-saving opportunities.
- Lead and manage a team of tax professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Interact with clients, providing expert tax advice, addressing their concerns, and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Assist in tax audits by providing documentation, liaising with tax authorities, and ensuring that tax records are well-organized and compliant.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations, conducting research to understand their impact on our clients and organization.
- Prepare and present financial reports related to taxes to senior management or clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (Master's degree or professional certifications like CPA preferred).
- 4 years of experience in tax compliance, planning, and supervision.
- Strong understanding of tax laws, regulations, and accounting principles.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Proficient in tax software and financial software applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
