Tax Staff/Tax Senior (Remote, must be willing to work in office 1 day per month)
A top 100 tax, assurance and advisory firm, located North of Boston, is actively seeking a Tax Staff and Tax Senior to join their growing team! For Tax Staff, the ideal candidate has anywhere from 1-3 years of experience, and for the Tax Senior role, the ideal candidate has anywhere from 3-5+ years of experience, both positions require international tax experience. Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates working knowledge of tax preparation at both the federal and state(s) levels, including but not limited to returns of individuals, partnerships, corporations and trusts
- Ability to contribute to tax engagements
- Meets deadlines while meeting or exceeding quality requirements
- Prepare and review U.S. federal and state returns for U.S. residents, expatriates, and foreign nationals
Qualifications:
- Tax Staff (1-3 years of experience), Tax Senior (3-5+ years of experience)
- Experience with International Tax
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or similar field required (with strong academic credentials)
- CPA certification (active or in process) preferred
- Experience within public accounting field
- Must be willing to work onsite 1 day per month
