We are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic Permanent Tax Senior to join our fast-paced finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating tax strategy and compliance for high-net-worth individuals. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients, providing innovative tax solutions and advice. The role offers excellent career progression, with the potential for further advancement within the company.
Responsibilities:
The Permanent Tax Senior will be responsible for a variety of tasks including but not limited to:
1. Managing and maintaining relationships with high-net-worth individual clients, ensuring their tax affairs are managed effectively and efficiently.
2. Preparing and reviewing complex tax returns and projections for high-net-worth individuals.
3. Providing tax planning and advisory services to clients, identifying potential tax savings and strategies.
4. Liaising with tax authorities and other external bodies as required.
5. Keeping up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and accounting standards, ensuring clients are fully informed and compliant.
6. Collaborating with other departments within the company to provide integrated financial solutions for clients.
7. Mentoring and training junior staff members, contributing to their professional development.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A master's degree or CPA designation is preferred.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in tax accounting, with a focus on high-net-worth individuals.
3. Comprehensive knowledge of tax laws and regulations, with a proven ability to apply this knowledge to client situations.
4. Strong experience in tax preparation, including the preparation of complex tax returns.
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
6. High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with strong organizational and time management skills.
7. Proficiency in tax software and other relevant computer applications.
8. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, while maintaining a high standard of work.
9. Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior staff members.
