Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts
- Assist with tax planning and research for clients
- Communicate with clients and tax authorities to resolve tax issues and respond to inquiries
- Prepare tax provisions and financial statement disclosures in accordance with GAAP
- Assist with tax audits and respond to tax notices
- Keep up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- 1+ years of experience in tax, tax accounting, or tax compliance
- CPA certification or in progress
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and tax software
