We are seeking a Permanent Tax Senior/Supervisor to join our dynamic finance team. This role will offer you the chance to work on a wide range of tax issues and to contribute to our company's financial health and growth. Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Tax Senior/Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing and managing the preparation and review of corporate, partnership, individual, and trust tax returns.
2. Conducting complex tax research projects for clients in diverse industries.
3. Managing a portfolio of clients and delivering high-quality tax service.
4. Providing innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise to clients.
5. Managing, training, and mentoring members of the tax team.
6. Interacting with clients and providing excellent customer service, including managing and meeting deadlines.
7. Identifying and mitigating tax risks.
8. Coordinating tax audits and representing the company in front of tax authorities.
9. Keeping up-to-date with changes in tax regulations and legislation.
Qualifications:
To qualify for this exciting opportunity, you must have:
1. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
2. A minimum of 3 to 10 years’ experience in tax preparation demonstrating a proven progression in tax complexity, scope, and research.
3. Exceptional knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
4. Proficiency in tax software and technology.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
8. Strong project management and presentation skills.
9. Ability to handle pressure and meet tight deadlines.
10. A high level of integrity and sensitivity to confidential information.
11. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A master's degree or additional certifications would be a plus.
