We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Tax Senior to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a solid background in tax accounting to contribute to a fast-paced, growing organization in the finance industry. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and coordinating tax compliance, planning, and advisory services for our clients.
Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
2. Conduct thorough tax research and analysis to identify and resolve technical tax issues.
3. Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients, ensuring they comply with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
4. Collaborate with a team of tax professionals to develop and implement effective tax strategies that maximize client benefits.
5. Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax provisions, as well as in the identification and documentation of uncertain tax positions.
6. Provide tax consulting services to clients, advising them on tax matters and potential implications of various corporate strategies.
7. Stay current with the latest developments in tax law and regulations to ensure the company and clients are in compliance.
8. Liaise with tax authorities and provide tax audit support for clients.
9. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service and managing their tax portfolios effectively.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation is required.
3. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a tax role, preferably within the finance industry.
4. Proficient in tax preparation, including experience with complex tax returns.
5. In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
6. Proven experience in tax accounting, tax compliance, and tax planning.
7. Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct tax research and analysis.
8. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to explain complex tax concepts to clients.
9. Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple tax engagements.
10. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in tax software programs and Microsoft Office Suite.
