Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
- Tax Compliance & Advisory: Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts. Advise clients on tax planning and compliance matters.
- Research: Conduct thorough tax research on various federal, state, and local tax matters and develop effective tax strategies for clients.
- Client Interaction: Act as a point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships. Understand and address client needs, providing exceptional service.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including Tax Managers and Partners, to ensure cohesive and comprehensive client service.
- Regulatory Updates: Stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations, informing both the team and clients of relevant developments.
- Mentoring: Provide guidance and support to junior staff, helping in their professional development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification or working towards obtaining it.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax services.
- Strong knowledge of tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
