Job Details

Responsibilities:

Tax Compliance: Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations.
Tax Planning: Analyze clients' financial situations to identify tax-saving opportunities and develop strategic tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize savings.
Client Communication: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor and providing proactive tax advice and guidance throughout the year.
Research and Analysis: Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, conduct research on complex tax issues, and provide recommendations to clients and team members.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with partners, managers, and fellow team members to deliver high-quality tax services in a timely manner, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance the overall effectiveness of the tax department.
Mentorship and Development: Mentor and train junior staff members, providing guidance and support to help them grow and develop their skills in tax accounting and consulting.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA license preferred.
Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while meeting deadlines.
