We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Tax Senior to join our dynamic team in the Mortgage industry. This is an exceptional opportunity for a driven individual with a strong background in public accounting and a proven track record with high net-worth clients. As a Tax Senior, you will play a pivotal role in providing tax advisory and compliance services, while working with our diverse client base within the Mortgage industry. This role offers immense growth potential and the chance to work with a dynamic team of professionals.
Responsibilities:
As a Tax Senior, you will be responsible for:
1. Managing and coordinating tax audits.
2. Preparing and reviewing C-Corp and S-Corp returns, partnerships, and other tax returns.
3. Providing innovative tax planning strategies and compliance expertise to clients.
4. Maintaining and cultivating strong relationships with clients to provide excellent customer service.
5. Staying updated with industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and efficiency.
6. Working closely with partners and staff on client management, practice development, and business development activities.
7. Supervising junior staff and reviewing their work for accuracy.
8. Managing multiple client engagements and ensuring the timely delivery of services.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Tax Senior position will have:
1. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting.
3. A strong background in dealing with high net-worth clients.
4. Experience with C-Corp and S-Corp returns, partnerships, and Big 4.
5. Knowledge and experience in REIT tax compliance.
6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
10. Proficiency in tax advisory services and tax compliance.
