Compensation: $90,000 - $120,000 per year, DOE

Position Summary:
A growing boutique CPA firm in North Phoenix is seeking a skilled Tax Senior to join its team of 13 professionals. This role is fully in-office, with a primary focus on tax preparation, financial statement reviews, and compilations. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated tax professional looking to advance to a managerial role within a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tax Preparation & Compliance: Prepare tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts, along with tax extensions and year-end tax projections.
• Financial Statement Review & Compilations: Generate trial balances, conduct financial statement reviews and compilations, and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
• Tax Research & Client Communication: Conduct tax research as needed, respond to IRS and other tax authority notices, and proactively communicate with clients to gather information and provide financial feedback.
• Client Relationship Management: Maintain open and professional communication with clients, delivering insights and support for their tax and financial needs.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• Certification: CPA license or CPA candidacy.
• Experience: 3-5 years of tax experience within a CPA firm, including experience with financial statement reviews and compilations.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in general accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Soft Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent time management, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
