Position Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Tax Senior to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing and delivering high-quality tax services to our clients, including high-net-worth individuals, S Corporations, Partnerships, and C Corporations. The Tax Senior will be responsible for overseeing tax returns, conducting research on complex tax issues, and providing strategic tax planning and consulting services.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of junior staff members, providing training and guidance as needed.
- Manage client relationships, ensuring high-quality service and effective communication.
- Conduct tax research to resolve complex issues and identify planning opportunities.
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies for high-net-worth individuals and trusts.
- Assist in budgeting and managing deadlines for tax projects to ensure timely completion.
- Maintain efficiency and accuracy in all tax-related tasks and deliverables.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their unique financial situations and provide tailored consulting solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in public accounting or tax services.
- Strong knowledge of tax compliance and tax planning for individuals and businesses.
- Experience with S Corporations, Partnerships, C Corporations, and Trusts and Estates.
- Proficient in tax research and tax-related software.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and supervisory skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines while maintaining a high-quality work product.
