Job Details
As a Tax Senior, you will be responsible for a broad range of duties, including:
1. Preparing and reviewing complex tax returns, including federal and state income tax, estimated payments, and extensions.
2. Conducting detailed tax research and analysis to identify and resolve complex tax issues.
3. Assisting in the development and implementation of tax planning strategies for clients.
4. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of current tax practices and changes in tax law.
5. Assisting with tax audits and inquiries by governmental authorities.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is highly desirable.
2. A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in public accounting or a related field, with a focus on tax.
3. Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state tax regulations.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex tax issues.
