We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Tax Senior Manager to join our SALT team within our National Tax practice.CohnReznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices.
This position is considered remote which means it does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a CohnReznick office location.
However, as a remote employee, you may be required to be present at a CohnReznick office with scheduled notice for client work, team meetings, or trainings.YOUR TEAM.
This position will support our National Tax Team, which in turn supports the firm’s broader tax practice.

Responsibilities include but not limited to: Coordinate with the core tax service delivery groups, with SALT team support, on presenting and implementing diversified consulting opportunities including audit defense/controversy, nexus studies, apportionment reviews, restructurings, and merger/acquisition situations.Emphasis on daily SALT tax technical reading to help derive planning ideas to be marketed to clients & prospectsRegular interaction with clients on SALT compliance & consulting engagements as well as proposals.Help to mentor staff on more value-added SALT projects & initiatives including identifying planning opportunities.Researching issues and drafting technical memoranda regarding various state tax matters.Serving as a technical resource and developing governmental relationships on state and local tax matters.YOUR EXPERIENCE. In California, the salary range for a Tax Senior Manager is $150,000 to $230,000.
