Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage tax compliance for a diverse client base, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations.
- Provide strategic tax planning and consulting services to clients.
- Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals.
- Stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and offer proactive advice.
- Foster strong client relationships and identify opportunities for business development.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall firm efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- CPA license or EA and a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in tax accounting, with a focus on public accounting.
- Proven leadership experience and the ability to mentor and develop a team.
- Tax prep for individuals and sole proprietorships (taxed as DRE's), Partnerships, S Corporations, C Corporations, and simple non-
profits/foundation/trust-related tax work
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality service to clients.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving work environment.
