We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Remote Tax Manager to join our dynamic team in the finance industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public accounting, with expertise in tax returns for S Corporations, C Corporations, Partnerships, and Multi-state LLCs. This remote position offers flexibility and the chance to work with a diverse range of clients.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee tax compliance for a portfolio of clients, including S Corps, C Corps, Partnerships, and LLCs.
- Review and prepare tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients, advising on the tax implications of business decisions and transactions.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, delivering exceptional customer service and support.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, and effectively communicate these changes to clients and team members.
- Mentor and support junior team members, offering guidance and assistance as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; Master in Taxation preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
- 4+ years of experience in public accounting, specializing in tax returns for S Corps, C Corps, Partnerships, and LLCs.
- Thorough knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Experience with a Big4 accounting firm is a plus.
