Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for C corporations and partnerships.
- Conduct tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Provide clients with tax planning strategies and recommendations.
- Assist in the preparation of tax provision calculations and related financial statement disclosures.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the evolving tax landscape, including regulations affecting the cannabis industry.
- Collaborate with team members and clients to deliver high-quality tax services.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in tax accounting, specifically with C corporations and partnerships.
- We are focused more on compliance and return prep, NOT tax provision / ASC740
- Preferred: EA, J.D., LL.M, CPA designations.
- Preferred: Experience in the cannabis industry.
