Job Details
What you'll be doing....
- Oversee hedge fund tax compliance engagements for clients with appropriate consideration of risk, operational, and tax technical issues
- Research of tax legislation and explaining the impact to asset management clients is required as part of your contribution to tax consulting projects
What you'll need...
- Bachelor's Degree required in related field
- CPA preferred or qualifications completed to pursue CPA
- 2+ years of progressive experience at a public accounting firm
- Experience in preparing and reviewing partnership tax returns and Schedules K-1 and K-3
- Experience with computing taxable income and partnership allocations for private funds
- Basic knowledge of wash sales, straddles, carried interest and incentive allocations
- Some knowledge of distribution waterfall
