Job Details
As a Tax Senior, you will:
1. Prepare and review complex tax returns (individual, corporate, partnership, multi-state, and international) ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.
2. Conduct tax research and planning to optimize tax strategies for clients.
3. Collaborate with team members to manage, plan, and execute multiple client engagements simultaneously.
4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional client service by delivering high-quality results.
5. Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to junior staff members.
6. Stay updated with industry trends and changes in tax laws to provide accurate advice and consultation to clients.
Qualifications
To be considered for the Tax Senior role, you must have:
1. A Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
2. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting, including leadership responsibilities.
4. Proven experience in tax preparation.
5. Exceptional knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
6. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax information in a clear and concise manner.
8. Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
9. A commitment to exceptional client service and an ability to work well within a team environment.
10. The ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
