Job Details
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Tax Senior to join our well-established and growing team. This is a role that offers an exceptional opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients across a range of industries. You will be responsible for managing and coordinating tax compliance and advisory work for clients. This role requires a deep understanding of tax laws and regulations, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. You will be working closely with our team of seasoned professionals who are passionate about providing top-notch financial services to our clients.
Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and review complex tax returns including federal and multi-state returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts.
2. Identify and mitigate tax risks by ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
3. Coordinate accounting staff and manage tax provision and tax compliance process.
4. Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices.
5. Provide innovative tax planning and review complex income tax returns.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree in Taxation or CPA certification is highly desirable.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax.
3. Extensive understanding and experience in tax preparation, tax accounting, and tax compliance.
4. High level of integrity, professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
