Our company is seeking an experienced Permanent Tax Senior to join our dynamic team in the finance industry. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our team, providing tax advisory and planning services to our diverse portfolio of clients. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment, where you will be able to make a significant impact on the financial success of our clients and our business.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Tax Senior, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including but not limited to:
1. Preparing and reviewing complex tax returns for individuals, C corporations, S corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
2. Conducting tax research to ensure compliance with federal and state tax laws and regulations.
3. Providing tax advisory and planning services to high net worth (HNW) clients.
4. Assisting with estate tax planning and trust and estate planning.
5. Managing relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and ensuring client satisfaction.
6. Collaborating with team members to identify and implement tax planning strategies.
7. Keeping up to date with the latest tax laws and regulations, and informing clients of any changes that may affect them.
8. Working closely with other departments to ensure the accuracy of financial statements and tax returns.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the role of Permanent Tax Senior, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting.
2. Proven experience in tax preparation, tax research, tax compliance, tax advisory, tax planning, and tax accounting.
3. Experience with corporate tax, including C corporations, S corporations, and partnerships.
4. Experience in managing high net worth (HNW) clients and estate tax planning.
5. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is a plus.
6. Previous experience as a Senior Tax Associate or Senior Tax Consultant is highly desirable.
7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
9. Proficiency in using tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
10. A strong understanding of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
