Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
- Utilize CCH Axcess software for tax preparation, research, and project management.
- Provide exceptional client service by managing and maintaining relationships with high net worth (HNW) clients.
- Research and analyze tax laws, regulations, and court rulings to ensure accurate and up-to-date tax advice.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and implement tax planning strategies for clients.
- Assist in the development of junior staff by providing mentoring, training, and technical guidance.
- Participate in business development initiatives, including networking events and client presentations.
- Stay current with industry trends and changes in tax laws to provide accurate and timely advice to clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree in Taxation or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in public accounting or a related field, with a focus on tax.
- Proficiency in CCH Axcess or similar tax software is required.
- Experience working with partnerships and high net worth (HNW) clients is strongly preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation is preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Exceptional client service skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
