Essential Functions and Primary Duties
- Prepare and review federal and state corporate, individual, partnership, and fiduciary tax returns, including exercising professional judgment with respect to issue identification to develop solutions
- Supervise and help drive the success of multiple engagements in corporate, partnership, and individual taxation
- Ensure complete client satisfaction through open communication, managing and meeting deadlines, and proactively sharing tax-saving strategies
- Collaborate with team members at all levels, from Associate to Managing Director, on client management, professional development, and business development initiatives
- Supervise, develop, train and mentor staff-including performance and engagement reviews
- Attend professional development and continuing education sessions on a regular basis
- Other related duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Taxation or related field
Minimum Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3 years of experience in public accounting or related field
- 1 year supervisory experience preferred
- CPA candidates preferred
- Ability to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments and prioritize each assignment as necessary
- Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
- Proficient use of applicable technology
- Must be able to travel based on client and business needs
