We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Tax Senior to join our fast-paced finance team. This is a permanent position and offers an excellent opportunity to work within a highly reputable organization in the finance industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating tax compliance and advisory work for clients. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a challenging environment and is looking for a role with significant growth potential.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review complex tax returns including federal and multi-state returns for C Corporations, S Corporations, partnerships, high net worth individuals, trusts & estates, and foundations.
- Identify and mitigate tax risks.
- Manage tax provision and tax compliance process.
- Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices.
- Manage and coordinate tax audits.
- Maintain tax balances on general ledger.
- Prepare all tax papers in regular basis and handle all information data requests.
- Work closely with teams to provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise to clients.
- Conduct research on tax laws and regulations to stay up-to-date.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- CPA Candidate.
- 2 to 3 years of public accounting experience.
- Big 4 background preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance, and all types of tax returns.
- Good at meeting deadlines and solving problems.
- Exceptional client service along with the ability to develop excellent client relationships.
- Strong leadership and personnel management skills.
- Analytical skills with detail orientation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and good knowledge of relevant software (e.g. TurboTax) and databases.
