Essential Functions and Primary Duties

• Prepare and review individual, trust, estate and gift tax returns
• Interact closely with clients year round to provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance services in a timely
  manner
• Ensure complete client satisfaction through open communication, managing expectations, meeting deadlines, and proactively
  sharing tax saving strategies
• Prepare budgets and schedule engagements accordingly
• Train and mentor lighter level associates
• Additional responsibilities as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

• Masters in Accounting and CPA eligible
• 2-3 years solid tax experience in the HNW area
• 2+ years experience in prep of Individual/1040s with some experience preferred in Partnership, Trust, S-Corps, and gift tax
  returns
• CCH Axcess, Microsoft office suite, BNA tax planner, and SurePrep experience preferred
• Experience with GoFileRoom and Engagement preferred
• Good communication skills (both verbal and writing skills) and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, managers
  and partners
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills
• Good judgement and the ability to work independently
• Strong tax research skills and self review
  

Minimum Qualifications Required

• Bachelor’s degree
• 3 years of experience in public accounting or related field
• 1 year supervisory experience preferred
• CPA candidates preferred
• Ability to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments and prioritize each assignment as necessary
• Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
• Proficient use of applicable technology
• Must be able to travel based on client and business needs

The annual salary target for this job in this market is $85,000-$100,000. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, and skillset of the individual selected for this position.
