We are seeking candidates with Private Equity experience who are interested in providing co-sourcing/outsourcing services for global Private Equity Funds. Team members are responsible for assisting with all aspects of an In-House tax function including assisting with transactional matters, managing multiple internal and external professional resources, as well as federal, state and foreign compliance and various special projects. Essential Functions and Primary Duties
- Review of all federal and state tax returns and K-1s and related filings
- Assist in gathering data and preparing schedules to be used in preparing tax returns
- Coordinate tax compliance processes with clients' functional teams and clients' external service providers
- Review quarterly and year end estimates
- Oversee, train and assist associate team members
- Able and willing to work with client personnel at client location, if needed
- Meet time restraints and deadlines
- Support lead person in charge of tax engagement
- Begin to build and develop quality relationships with clients
- Gather data necessary to respond to audits and inquiries by governmental authorities
- Become proficient at tax research
- Assist with other projects as necessary
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Accounting, Taxation or related field
- CPA candidates preferred
Minimum Qualifications Required
- Bachelor's degree
- 3 years of experience in public accounting or related field
- 1 year supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments and prioritize each assignment as necessary
- Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
- Proficient use of applicable technology
- Must be able to travel based on client and business needs
The annual salary target for this job in this market is $85,000-$130,000. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
