Position Summary/Objective

As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in resolving complex tax notices and escalations for our valued clients.
Essential Functions/Duties/Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address complex payroll tax requests and issues.
- Resolve Tier-2 agency notices, including out-of-state wages and third-party sick pay.
- Assist clients with agency notices related to acquisitions, divestitures, and mergers.
- Coordinate mass event payments with cross-functional tax teams.
- Maintain focus on resolving aged and escalated customer requests and notices.
- Conduct annual agency notice reconciliations for payroll tax customers.
- Engage with federal, state, and local tax agencies to resolve payroll tax notices.
- Serve as a subject matter expert to support team members and clients in resolving payroll tax notices.
- Maintain timely responses to cases and ensure customer expectations are managed effectively.
- Research missing check payments and create prior quarter adjustment packets.
- Process checks/payments and handle mailings to various agencies.
- Evaluate and analyze payroll tax documents and reports.
- Support customer escalations and inquiries by creating cases and conducting research.
- Undertake specialist projects and additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

- Associate degree or higher.
- CPP/FPC certification.
- Experience in outsourcing payroll or tax environments.
- Knowledge of multi-state jurisdictions.
