Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and timely individual and business tax returns.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant tax codes and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary financial information.
- Provide expert advice and recommendations to clients on tax-related matters.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure accurate and up-to-date advice.
- Analyze financial statements and other relevant documents to identify tax-saving opportunities.
- Maintain organized and complete tax files for each client.
- Keep detailed records of all tax-related activities.
- Educate clients on tax-saving strategies and financial planning techniques.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA certification a plus).
- Proven experience as a Tax Preparer or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
- Proficient in tax preparation software and MS Office Suite.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
