Tax Preparer

We have an immediate need for a Tax Preparer to join a wealth advisory firm for a full-time, permanent position that is remote capable. The ideal candidate will have experience with high-net-worth tax preparation and planning engagements.

Location: Remote or hybrid in Los Angeles, Dallas, Boca Raton, Boulder, or Chicago.

This job expects to pay about $80,000-110,000 plus benefits

What You Will Do:

• Assist with the preparation of quarterly/periodic estimated tax calculations. 
• Prepare and review personal federal and state tax returns.
• Research tax notices from federal/state agencies and prepare written correspondence as needed. 
• Participates actively in client meetings and tax planning sessions.
• Use a broad range of tax tools and techniques to ensure efficiency and accuracy. 
• Supports corporate culture from a learning and team building perspective 

What Gets You The Job: 

• Bachelor’s degree
• Enrolled Agent (EA) certification preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• Deliver exceptional client service.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
• Experience with HNW (high-net-worth) tax and planning engagements.
• Experience with CCH Axcess. Experience with Sureprep and TaxCaddy preferred.
• Must be highly organized, technically strong, and an enthusiastic, effective team player.
• Proven ability to self-start, take initiative, work collaboratively, and drive results.
• Experience with Excel/Word/Outlook/PowerPoint, with an emphasis on Excel.
