Incendia Partners is supporting a leading public accounting firm as they hire a Tax Managing Director. The firm is large but locally owned and has an excellent reputation in the Greater Boston business community.
This is a newly created / add-to-staff role as the firm grows its presence in the Non-profit sector. While the Tax Managing Director will have exposure to a broad array of clients from global corporations to start-ups and closely held businesses, they will have a special focus on NPO’s.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by offering industry expertise and knowledge
- Lead tax planning, compliance, and consulting services to clients with complex tax and business needs
- Manage client communications and relationships
- Act as a subject matter expert to the firm and other engagement teams for technical matters impacting the NPO sector
- Work closely with engagement teams to continually add value to clients
- Provide training, development, and mentorship to staff
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is required
- Active CPA license is required
- Master’s Degree in Accounting or Taxation is desired
- 15+ plus years of experience
- Extensive experience with clients in the NPO sector
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication, both written and verbal
- Possess excellent client relationship management skills
- Strong research skills and ability to provide guidance to clients and the internal firm staff
- Experience with ProSystem fx Tax and CCH Intelliconnect or similar is desired
