Job Opportunity:
We are currently seeking a Subject Matter Expert for Pass-Through entities to join our National Tax Office. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in pass-through entity practice, with a focus on LLCs and Partnership Clients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide tax consultation to professionals across our practice offices on a range of client tax matters nationally.
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert for complex pass-through taxation questions, including mergers/acquisitions, equity-based compensation, profit/loss allocations, IRS audits, and more.
- Serve as the go-to expert for tax compliance reporting questions, staying updated on evolving requirements and procedures.
- Contribute to the development of thought leadership and training programs within the National Tax Office, staying informed about legislative and industry developments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 12+ years of tax partnership experience with a top-tier firm.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA, Masters in Taxation, or JD/LLM preferred.
- Proficiency in tax research subscription services.
- Strong consulting mindset with a focus on client satisfaction and team collaboration.
- Experience in leadership and mentoring junior team members.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a commitment to responsiveness and professionalism.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in Accounting, Taxation, or related field.
- 10 years of experience in public accounting or related field, with supervisory experience.
- Active CPA or equivalent certification.
- Ability to manage deadlines, prioritize assignments, and utilize technology effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to integrity, client service, and leadership.
Compensation:
The annual salary target for this role ranges from $300,000 to $550,000, commensurate with education, experience, and skills. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer comprehensive benefits including medical and dental insurance, retirement savings, certification incentives, and more.
