Job Details
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tax Manager to join our dynamic finance team. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of tax compliance, tax planning, and tax strategy for the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize the organization's tax liability
- Manage tax compliance and reporting processes, including the preparation and filing of tax returns
- Conduct tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide tax guidance and support
- Manage relationships with external auditors and tax authorities
- Provide training and support to finance and accounting teams on tax-related matters
- Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate relevant updates to stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification preferred
- 3+ years of experience in tax management, tax planning, or tax audit
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and tax software applications
