This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Tax Manager to join are stable CPA firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of tax compliance, tax accounting, and corporate tax. As a Tax Manager, you will be expected to provide tax advisory services, prepare tax returns, conduct tax research, and review financial statements. You will also be responsible for tax planning and reviewing tax returns. This role requires a candidate with a solid understanding of tax compliance and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax accounting, tax advisory, and corporate tax.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and oversee all aspects of tax compliance, including preparing and reviewing tax returns, conducting tax research, and ensuring compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations.
2. Provide tax advisory services to clients, including advising on tax planning strategies, tax implications of business decisions, and potential tax savings opportunities.
3. Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring all tax-related items are accurately reported and in compliance with tax laws and regulations.
4. Conduct regular tax research to stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations, and ensure the company is in compliance with all applicable tax laws.
5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting of tax-related items.
6. Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize tax savings.
7. Review tax returns prepared by other team members to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree in Taxation or a related field is preferred.
2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in tax compliance, tax accounting, tax advisory, and corporate tax.
4. Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, and the ability to apply this knowledge to various tax situations.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex tax information and provide tax advisory services.
6. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex tax information in a clear and understandable manner.
8. Proficiency in tax preparation software and other financial software.
9. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
