Our esteemed firm is seeking a dedicated and experienced Permanent Tax Manager. This role is instrumental in managing and executing tax strategies for our high net worth (HNW) clients, including corporations, partnerships, and individuals. The successful candidate will be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a strong background in tax management and a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.

Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement effective tax planning strategies for HNW clients, partnerships, and corporations.
2. Manage, direct, and monitor multiple client engagements simultaneously.
3. Supervise, mentor, and develop staff, providing constructive feedback and identifying areas for improvement.
4. Review tax returns and quarterly/year-end income tax projections.
5. Maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, and lead change efforts effectively.
6. Collaborate with internal and external parties to manage tax audits and tax disputes.
7. Stay abreast of changes in tax legislation and inform clients accordingly.
8. Provide leadership and support to the tax department by developing and improving upon existing methodologies and procedures.
9. Utilize advanced knowledge of the tax code, theory, and practice to identify potential tax issues and solutions for clients.
Qualifications:
1. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. An advanced degree in Tax or Law is highly desirable.
3. A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in public accounting or a combination of corporate and public accounting experience.
4. Proven experience in managing multiple client engagements and teams simultaneously.
5. Extensive experience with HNW clients, partnerships, and corporate tax planning and compliance.
6. Excellent research skills with a high level of proficiency in tax preparation software.
7. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to manage client expectations.
8. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
9. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
10. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
