Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and maintain relationships with UHNW and HNW clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
2. Prepare and review complex tax returns (1040 individual returns), ensuring accuracy and compliance with state and federal tax laws.
3. Provide strategic tax planning and consulting services, identifying opportunities to minimize tax liabilities and maximize financial growth.
4. Lead and manage a team of tax professionals, providing guidance, training, and mentorship as needed.
5. Collaborate with other departments to provide integrated financial services and solutions.
6. Stay abreast of current tax laws and regulations, utilizing this knowledge to provide informed advice and strategies to clients.
7. Assist with IRS and state tax audits, providing expert representation and negotiation on behalf of clients.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or CPA certification is highly preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management, with a focus on serving UHNW and HNW individuals.
3. Extensive experience in preparing and reviewing 1040 individual returns.
4. In-depth knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
5. Proven track record of managing client relationships and delivering high-quality tax services.
6. Exceptional leadership skills, with experience in managing and developing a team.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex tax issues into understandable solutions for clients.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
9. Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
10. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
