Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the entire tax process for individuals, corporate, partnerships, trusts, and estates, and pass-through entities.
- Ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns in compliance with federal and state tax laws and regulations.
- Provide innovative tax planning strategies and compliance expertise to clients.
- Manage, direct, and monitor multiple client engagement teams on a variety of tax projects.
- Review complex income tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Identify and mitigate potential tax risks and liabilities.
- Manage and coordinate tax audits.
- Prepare and review quarterly and annual tax reports.
- Keep up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and policy.
- Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to junior staff members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive tax experience in public accounting or a similar work environment.
- Extensive experience with tax planning for individuals, corporate, partnerships, trusts, estates, and pass-through entities.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Strong leadership and personnel management skills.
- Proficient in tax software and technology.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Exceptional client service along with the ability to develop excellent client relationships.
- Strong desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced, challenging industry.
