What You'll Be Doing

• Tax Compliance & Planning: Review and manage tax returns, extensions, and tax planning for various entity types, with a focus on complex partnerships.
• Client Advisory: Provide strategic advice on partnership-specific issues (e.g., Section 704(b) allocations, capital account maintenance, liability analysis, Tax Receivable Agreements).
• Research & Tax Memo: Conduct complex tax research and prepare detailed memorandums on partnership taxation issues.
• Client Relationships: Serve as a key point of contact for high-profile clients, guiding them through tax implications and business objectives.
• Leadership & Mentorship: Lead by example, training and mentoring junior staff while enhancing team workflows and knowledge.
• Audit Support: Manage and respond to IRS and state agency audits and inquiries.
  
  

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of experience in tax, with specialized expertise in partnership taxation.
• Strong background in individual tax compliance and planning.
• Proficiency in tax research (RIA or similar platforms).
• Experience in mentoring, training, and leading teams.
• A proactive, forward-thinking mindset with a passion for improving processes and learning.
• A positive, team-oriented attitude and excellent communication skills.
