About the Job
LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring for a Tax Manager for ourclient in Sarasota, FL.
This is a hybrid, direct hire position.
Responsibilities
- Analyzes financial information to prepare state, federal and local tax returns for the company according to laws and regulations
- Handles tax return and compliance issues as required
- Assists with IRS audits.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of public or corporate tax accounting experience required
Skills/Knowledge
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas) skills are essential
- Great multi-tasker, detail/customer service-oriented and deadline driven
- Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, verbal and written communication skills
- Prior accounting software knowledge required (QuickBooks preferred)
- Prior tax software knowledge required (UltraTax strongly preferred)
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required
- CPA or Enrolled Agent also required
Work Hours/Pay Rate
- Monday-Friday - 40 hours per week
- $85-95K plus bonus
