Tax Manager - LHH

LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring for a Tax Manager for ourclient in Sarasota, FL.

This is a hybrid, direct hire position.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes financial information to prepare state, federal and local tax returns for the company according to laws and regulations
• Handles tax return and compliance issues as required
• Assists with IRS audits.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of public or corporate tax accounting experience required

Skills/Knowledge

• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas) skills are essential
• Great multi-tasker, detail/customer service-oriented and deadline driven
• Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, verbal and written communication skills
• Prior accounting software knowledge required (QuickBooks preferred)
• Prior tax software knowledge required (UltraTax strongly preferred)

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required
• CPA or Enrolled Agent also required

Work Hours/Pay Rate

• Monday-Friday - 40 hours per week
• $85-95K plus bonus
