Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing complex tax returns, including multi-state returns for Individuals, Estates and Trusts, Partnerships, S Corporations, and other business entities
- Conducting technical research and staying updated with tax laws and regulations
- Addressing inquiries from the IRS, state, and other tax authorities
- Analyzing the scope of each engagement to manage schedules, budgets, and deadlines effectively
- Monitoring compliance with due dates and time budgets
- Supervising, assigning duties, and providing training to staff members
- Mentoring and coaching staff members in their professional development
- Managing multiple engagements simultaneously
- Engaging in direct interaction with Partners and Clients
- Playing a key role in business development by generating leads, expanding client services, and networking in the community
- Assisting with client billings
Qualifications:
- Bachelor in Tax or related field
- CPA License
- 5+ years of public accounting
- Strong communication and leadership skills
