Job Details
Essential Functions:
- Assist partners and principals with tax and advisory services
- Prepare and review income tax returns for various entity forms and high‐net‐worth individuals
- Handle IRS and state tax authorities correspondence
- Manage own workload by monitoring project/return deadlines, frequent daily contact with partners, principals and paraprofessionals in assessing project status and problems encountered
- Interact with client personnel on tax return information, due dates, deadlines, and other compliance matters and keep staff accountants and paraprofessionals informed and vice versa
- Recognize potential problem areas in projects/returns and discuss with appropriate team members
- Perform other job-related duties as required
You should know some of the following:
- Certified Public Accountant
- Minimum 6 years of public accounting experience in federal and state tax compliance, preparing income tax returns and other forms for various entities and high‐net‐worth individuals
