Position Overview:
As a Tax Manager, you will oversee tax compliance, planning, and consulting services. The ideal candidate will have a strong tax background, leadership skills, and a commitment to providing unparalleled client service.
Responsibilities:
Tax Compliance and Planning: Lead the preparation and review of complex individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns. Collaborate on effective tax planning strategies.
Client Engagement: Build strong client relationships, addressing inquiries, offering valuable tax insights, and identifying business development opportunities.
Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor tax staff, providing guidance on technical issues, professional development, and performance evaluations.
Technical Expertise: Stay updated on tax laws, ensuring compliance, and applying knowledge to resolve complex tax issues.
Risk Management: Assess and mitigate potential tax risks. Implement strategies to enhance the overall efficiency of the tax department.
Financial Reporting: Review financial statements and disclosures, ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Ensure timely delivery of accurate financial reports.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
CPA certification is preffered.
4+ years of tax experience, with managerial or supervisory experience preferred.
Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
