Job Details
Essential Functions:
- Deliver strategic tax planning for business entities
- Experience in consolidated tax returns
- Manages multiple engagement teams in a way that demonstrates success and improvements
- Successfully manage accounting and consulting engagements, including review and audit services
- In‐depth knowledge of income tax law. Will be responsible for all aspects of tax services, including preparation of Individual, Corporate, Partnership, Estates, Gift Tax and Trust Returns
- Effectively manages multiple client relationships so as not to put priority of any one client over another
- Possess a positive work ethic and a drive to participate as a member of the team
- Ability to build relationships with clients, focus on understanding their needs and deliver timely and high‐quality service
- Mentor staff accountants through leadership and training objectives
- Takes ownership of billing/budget procedures which may include addressing difficult billing, collection, or budget matters
- Participate in networking and business development activities for personal and professional growth
You should know some of the following:
- Extensive background in GAAP accounting
- Excellent critical thinking and problem‐solving skills
- Proficient in both general and accounting related computer software with preferred experience in ProSystems, Adavanced Flow, QuickBooks, Yardi Breeze experience a plus
