### What You Will Be Doing
- Review and manage tax returns, extensions, and tax planning calculations for all entity types, with a focus on individual/family
- Review financial statements, perform accounting and adjusting entries, bank reconciliations, and manage client books and records
- Prepare and review complex tax planning projections for individual and corporate estimated tax liability
- Manage and monitor client deliverables and due dates
- Prepare or review complex U.S. and state individual income, gift tax, and estate tax returns
- Conduct complex tax research and prepare memoranda outlining findings and conclusions
- Respond to IRS and state agency audits, inquiries, and tax notices
- Communicate directly with clients, colleagues, management, and IRS representatives regarding various tax matters
- Lead the department in knowledge of software, processes, and workflows
### What You Need for this Position
- 4-10+ years of relevant experience
- Experience in individual tax compliance and planning (experience with CS Suite and UltraTax is a plus)
- Tax research experience (RIA)
- Experience with gift, estate, and trust returns is a plus
- Experience in partnership tax is a plus
- Outgoing and friendly personality; a team player
- Forward-thinking, always looking for ways to improve, learn, and grow
- Desire and ability to train, mentor, lead, and develop staff
