You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all tax laws and regulations, preparing and reviewing tax returns, and providing strategic tax planning and advisory services. Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all aspects of tax compliance, ensuring adherence to tax laws and regulations.
- Prepare and review corporate tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timely filing.
- Conduct comprehensive tax research, interpret tax laws, and provide guidance to management on tax implications of business decisions.
- Develop and implement strategic tax planning initiatives to minimize tax liabilities and optimize tax benefits.
- Provide tax advisory services to the organization, including advising on the tax implications of proposed transactions and business initiatives.
- Oversee the preparation of tax accounting records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Manage relationships with tax authorities, external auditors, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations and ensure the organization's tax policies and procedures are updated accordingly.
- Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree in Taxation or a related field is a plus.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
- Proven experience in tax compliance, tax preparation, international tax, corporate tax, tax advisory, tax accounting, tax returns, and tax research.
- Strong knowledge of tax planning strategies and the ability to apply these strategies in a business context.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex tax laws and regulations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex tax concepts to non-tax professionals.
- High level of integrity and professionalism, with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in tax preparation and research software.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
