Tax Manager (Remote | $150,000)
Our client, located north of Boston, is a boutique CPA Firm that specializes in tax and accounting services for individuals, businesses and other organizations. As they are experiencing excellent growth, the team is looking to add a Tax Manager.
This position is primarily remote, with the occasional in office meeting and will have 5-7 direct reports. If you have 5+ years of public accounting tax experience, this could be an excellent opportunity for financial and professional growth.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the preparation of a wide range of tax returns, including individual, business and estate filings.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing exceptional service by addressing complex tax matters.
- Develop tax strategies to optimize to best serve client financial goals.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to colleagues, fostering their professional growth and development.
- Collaborate with colleagues on process improvements, technology needs, service offerings and other critical elements of the organization’s functions.
- Assist in hiring, training and onboarding new colleagues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or EA preferred.
- 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in tax or financial accounting services.
- Strong knowledge of Federal and State tax laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
