Key Responsibilities
- Manage and review the preparation of federal and state tax returns for individuals and corporations.
- Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and enhance cash flow.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, keeping up-to-date with changes in tax legislation.
- Lead tax audits and communicate with tax authorities as necessary.
- Provide tax planning advice to clients and internal stakeholders, including risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
- Supervise and mentor junior tax staff, fostering professional development and a collaborative team environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; Master's degree is a plus.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting or tax consulting.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
