Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and oversee all aspects of tax compliance, including preparing and reviewing tax returns, audits, and documentation.
2. Develop and implement strategic tax planning for all necessary federal and state taxes.
3. Manage the preparation and review of corporate, personal, partnership and other tax returns.
4. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations, and ensure the company is in compliance with all tax requirements.
5. Collaborate with management to optimize tax liabilities and benefits, and identify tax planning opportunities.
6. Assist in financial planning and analysis, including budgeting and forecasting activities.
7. Coordinate and manage special projects as it relates to strategic tax matters.
8. Liaise with tax authorities and provide tax audit support for the company.
9. Advise management on the impact of new laws on tax liabilities and strategies.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a plus.
3. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a tax manager or public accountant role.
